I know I know. Once again. It's not that I have nothing to wirte, it's that I have way too much. My life has been so full lately. And not wholly in the busy sense of the word, but full of laughter, joy, friendship adventure and than of course work.
I don't even know where to begin...
Ah yes, the cruise. It seems like only yesterday I was snorkling, basking in the sun, eating delicious island food, and was lost in the rythems of caribbean steel drums. It was like a dream. It was looking at a postcard and relaizing that it was real. Amazing. The fun and adventure was a memory I hope to never lose. Latina and I had so much fun. The girl is crazy. If they had a reward for most memorable Kareoke Performance for Female Vocalist she would have won. Hands down. I, on the other hand, would be voted for worst face made while dancing. I'll tell the story another day. Bottom line, we had fun. Finally a vacation. A real vacation, with no parents, no agenda, just to relax. But more than fun, it was deep. I am amazed by the relationships God puts me in sometimes. Friends that will challenge my faith, how I view myself, and who are willing to go deep with me. Friends who know everything about me and loves me anyway. Thank you Jesus. It was a time that I just felt really loved and blessed by God. It was a time of favor.
If we fast forward a few weeks from that the next most significant part of my summer has been the begining of 24 hour prayer. I am part of an emerging church plant here in Tampa called The Underground. Being part of this has been incredible. The Lord is teaching me so much through the others that are invloved. Check out the website...www.tampaunderground.com
As part of the Underground we decided to dedicate the next year (and hopefully beyond) to 24 hr. prayer. As I have spent hours there I really feel God speaking to my heart, especially in terms of his love for me. Check this out...before the creatiion of the world God chose us in him. If that doesn't blow you away, I don't know what will.
That's all for now. My computer is about to die.
